STEP THREE: Complete a CASA Training Course
Our classroom training offers a workshop format where trainees complete their training in a 2-week period.   This training is offered two times a year, in the fall and again in the spring.  In addition to the classroom option, there is also an Independent Study Option (ISO) which offers an independent learning format with a larger portion of the time reading and researching independently, coupled with group sessions with other trainees one 2-hour session each week for 7-9 weeks.    See schedule of upcoming training options.   Once you complete on of the courses, you will be sworn in as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
